I'm playing the Thalans against one opponent (Yor Singularity) on a medium size map with star frequency "rare" on difficulty level "incredible". Most of the match so far played out about as I anticipated but at some point my opponents military power exploded:
This seems in part due to spending but I definitely don't get what is happening here (where does he get 5000 credits from within 3 turns and why is he allowed to have debt?):
And the increase in military power doesn't seem to be due to increased ship construction:
Can anyone explain to me what is happening here?
