[BUG] AI not building up its planets. Posted on Friday, June 16, 2017 TheFunMachine-Today at 2:13 PM Does 'trading with someone else' promp in the diplo menu mean you have to wait a few turns? strange, I saved, and reloaded the game. I could speak to them then. also @Horem I just invaded Yor homeworld on turn 139 and all they built was a planetary extracotr and a mainframe Another one What is going on? OK, I switched into god mode. Other empires appear to be bui;domg out their planets, HOWEVER -- they're still queing up assist reasearch projects when there are better thingsto do, as well as queing multiples of the research project. Long story short: Yor don't build their planest. This is the second game in a row with different difficulty settings where I have seen this. Horem-Today at 3:06 PM @TheFunMachine Hmm, the 3 games I have started the AI are doing fine building thier planets, but. 1. I dont have any synthetic races. 2. I nerfed the Aid projects by 3/4 in both cost and reward. Actually lookign at it is more like 7/8 TheFunMachine-Today at 3:07 PM Could be a synthetic thing. When spying in God mode, the others were building mostly* fine. Horem-Today at 3:23 PM bare in mind though, since my aid projects only take 1-4 turns, thats speeding them along. if it was at default, they would be um behind still. I even tried adding a Weight of 0 to them and a Weight of 50 for everything else. seems the weights are ignored. This does explain why the AI seems easier with crusade though tbh. I tried a vanilla game yesterday and atleast the AI built its planets up. The AI actually pretty good at it now, when it is not being held back by the aid-weight Horem-Today at 3:37 PM then you get this off the same AI Obeservation, In my 120 turn soak. The AI buildign the best planets are either scientific, peacefull or traders. The ones doing the worest are synths and warlike races.
