Animated characters, rendered 3D or video clips Posted on Saturday, February 25, 2017 I was just curious, as I couldn't decide for certain. Are the characters we are speaking to when conducting diplomacy or choosing techs merely prerecorded CGI, or are they 3D rendered on my machine, as is the case in CIV 4, 5, and 6?
