I just purchased GalCiv3 and it will not load. Problem as follows: Program will display the splash screen then switch to a blank black screen and that is it. Program is unresponsive in Task manager.
I have run the default troubleshooting tree and responded to my ticket #KXS-807-51994
PC as follows: i7-4700mq 2.4GHz 8MB ram 64 bit win 8.1 OS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M Graphics
Actions taken:
I run as an administrator
clean install of program
clean install of NVIDA drivers
update onbord GFX drivers
set the Prefs to low res
Run in High performance mode
Force the program to use the NVIDA card
verified program files
vcredist_x64 program
ran DXsetup program
And other stuff I am forgetting to list. Any ideas?
