Okay Moved to 1.7

Here is my observations after getting 1.7 to be playable with my existing 1.61 game.  First off it took a good half hour to forty-five minutes to manually go through all 250 star bases and turn off auto upgrade so it didn't lock up and become horribly laggy, in which I did miss a few, I guess I'll have to deal with it.  This could just be added to previous posts but, here is yet another.

Love

  • I love the favorite ships, cleans up the list greatly.
  • The new star base / ship yard sponsor, although still needs to be better when loading saved games for the first time.

Needs Work

  • A way to be able to tell what star base the constructor is being built for.  
    • It cuts off the description and when clicking on it doesn't provide more information so all I know is I'm building a constructor for deep space star base ... (I only have 70 deep space star bases).
  • Be able to navigate to next or previous star base from the sponsor screen.
  • I can see over capacity ships, however, I am unable to select them in the ship designer to correct the capacity issue so I can re-use them.  I should be able to select to edit them in the ship designer.
  • Game lag on extreme settings, not on turn time, just general game adjustments with production wheel, ship yard ques, planetary ques, ect...  
  • Game pacing/technology rate on extreme settings/abundant planets.  Research tree completely researched by turn 200 on very slow rates, therefore making the whole research side of the game a mute point at that point.  (Mind you diplomacy cheese has something to do with it but, that is just part of it.)
  • Other factions need to declare war when they are loosing (want to win).  I have gone through the entire game on 86 godlike AI and no one has declared war once on me as I had a good enough military rate at the begining of the game and was friendly enough with the Drengin.  Now I'm running away with the game and everyone loves me.

Bugs

  • Sometimes when going into the negative, after returning to positive credits.  When one resets the production wheel the next turn it defaults back to 0.
  • Sometimes after entering ship yards or star bases after a turn the screen errors out see picture below.
