1.4.1 opt-in (Older video cards only)
Our recent 1.5 release had numerous graphical improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, as part of these fixes, some players with older video cards that don't support DX10.1 (GC3's min spec) are experiencing graphical issues. While we are investigating a fix, we are posting the previous build (1.4.1) as an opt-in so those folks can continue to play GC3.
To opt-in to the older 1.4.1 build, please do the following:

Select Galactic Civilization III in your Steam Library list

Right-click and select Properties

Select the BETAS tab

Enter the following code to unlock the 1.4.1 build: Stardock2016

From the dropdown, select "v14 optin -- Version 1.4" and click Close (if you don't see this option, restart Steam)

Steam should pull down the changed files; if you ever want to go back, do the same as above but select default
Note that if you choose to opt-in to this older build, you will not be able to use the Precursors DLC. Once we've patched 1.5 to support the older cards, you'll need to opt out of the 1.4.1 build and restart steam to re-enable this content.
