I get notification of an event - there's a bunch of new super planets. I look for them and GUESS WHAT? One faction HAS THREE OF THEM RIGHT IN HIS HOME SYSTEM.
There are none anywhere else that I've found.
I quit the Galactic Council, or whatever it's called, colonize the planet. That lasts about two turns.
So.... I'm two hundred turns or so into my first game and the entire game is blown by a RANDOM EVENT? SERIOUSLY?????
