I have finally been playing with the ship designer (as part of constructing my own faction, naturally... 
), however I have encountered something I cannot seem to make work and hope isn't currently a "feature."
I love being able to place a part and have it copy along multiple axis, but the facings always seem to be along a single plane. What I am hoping to do is have a part project from the central axis of the ship, but have it duplicated to the top, right, bottom, and left of that central axis like spokes. I only seem to get what amounts to rungs.
I have noticed controls for groupings, but I have not been able to find any info on them or figure them out (so far anyway).
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
