QoL suggestions and other minor irritants

I love Insane sized maps but it gets rather frustrating in some parts.

 

1. Can we have an option somewhere to do automatic Social|Military production switches? Perhaps if a stimulus is not queued?

It is quite a pain in the butt when you have a lot of colonies, all happily making ships, then researched a new building upgrade tech. Of course, you then need to go into every single one to switch it back when done...

I know we can flip ALL the colonies at once but not all of my colonies will be on the same page when it comes to upgrades.

 

1a. If not #1, please at least add the Social|Military slider in the Economy Colonies Screen.

 

2. Please add a way to queue repeated builds of the same ship from the Economy panel.

 

3. Ship upgrades are too expensive! $ cost compared to production cost not balanced.

E.g. A 3000+ production ship can cost 20k+ to upgrade, yet I can churn one out in 3-4 turns from a fully loaded shipyard. It takes my entire empire more than 3-4 turns at 100% economy to produce that much $.

 

4. Ship upgrading should require movement to a shipyard for some realism. And for balance if #3 is made to make it cheaper.

 

5. Auto-ship-upgrade selection from the Shipyard screen doesn't work...especially for custom designs. When we do a new design with "Use Design", I think it can be safely assumed we want the modified design to be the upgraded version.

 

6. Please add a way to clear a Shipyard's queue from the Economy panel.
