Here are a few things I'd like to be able to do, but haven't figured them out yet:
- Can I see what the current game settings are while in the game? For instance I would probably like to lower the habitable planets on this gigantic map for future playthroughs from whatever I set it at this game, but don't remember whether it was set to common or occasional.
- Is there a command for a ship to "Hold X Turns" even if X is set to a specific number, like 10? I really like this option going all the way back to Alpha Centauri, and 'H' doesn't seem to be bound to anything by default.
- In GCII the colony management screen showed if the planets had any open tiles (and I think it included tiles to be terraformed there). This doesn't appear to be in the current colony management screen and would love if it could come back. Since terraforming is different in GCIII maybe it could just give us a binary answer (yes/no) if we can currently terraform any tiles with the technology available to us.
- Is there anyway to see all of your ships' current pathing at once? That would be an awesome toggle.
- Starbase construction late game is so much less micromanagement than GCII, which is awesome, but a "Request Constructor and Auto Upgrade" governor would be awesome.
A couple of those are more suggestions than questions because I'm pretty sure they don't exist yet, but 26 hours of gameplay and 436 turns into my first big game those were the questions/suggestions that I had written that I didn't see elsewhere yet.
Thanks,
Gamibt
