Options Screen

  • Input screen needs a better layout. There needs to be some grouping setup between each category of hot keys. Camera controls, ship designer controls, map controls, etc...

Govern > Colony Screen

  • split social and military in the manufacturing column being able to separately sort by each of these values has advantages

 Galaxy Map

  • when set for no grid lines outside cultural borders the grid lines bleed 1 hex past the cultural borders and dissipate.
  • I would like to see the color and size of stars in the FOW, possibly limited to a racial trait. I would think a this information should be visible from the outset of the game. It will help with choosing where to send colony ships. Related to this would be have the old Stellar Cartography racial trait back.
  • [hotkey] rush buy needed
  • [hotkey] upgrade needed
  • when merging a fleet the parent fleet should keep it's original movement orders
  • When in strategic zoom second faction icon is redundant

         

Colony Screen > Goven Planet

  • When I adjust the sliders the planet screen behind it should update the turns to completion. If the active window is a problem then the Govern Planet screen should have the build queue showing the adjustments. At the very least upon exiting the Govern Planet screen the Planet screen should update the build order times. 
  • no option to disable auto upgrades for all planets. I would love this ability

Shipyard

  • need button to obsolete designs

Diplomancy

  • the icon for Make Weekly Payments indicating it's offered for 50 turns is missing on the sidebars
  • switch war and trade dialog options. Trade top, war middle
  • are you doing something with the I would like to speak to you about something on diplo screen
  • expose diplomatic values in the tooltip. 
  • remember which categories that were collapsed for next time I start trade. 
  • EXPLOIT: I can offer enough BC per turn for all of the AI's credits then declare war the same turn. Negating my side of the bargain. This now is

  • if the AI values the deal as equal, I would like to not have to add 1 bc to make the AI think they are getting a better deal

Ship Designer

  • need button or tab to show obsolete designs
  • delete key on keyboard should prompt if the users wants to delete a design
  • need delete button for ship components. Steam Cloud prevents me from deleting the extra templates and components.
  • The ship filter should not disappear after deleting a ship design. 
  • I make a few different variations when I test a design. When I go into the ship designer and want the ability to remove one of my old designs without having to re-select my filter after deleting a design. 
    1. Go into ship designer
    2. Select user
    3. Select a ship and click Delete
    4. Press Yes at the confirmation

At this point I'm now back to the all and have to re-select my filters to scroll the list.  

Manage Planet Screen

Battle Viewer

  • mirrored weapons do not fire

Planet Screen

  • Social and Manufacturing Production should both be visible
  • Moral should be visible. Right now the only way to see this is through the tool tip.
  • The tooltip for the projects should display the formula for how it affects production.
  • Hovering over a tile should display a tooltip if this is eventually terraformable. This is important for planning on how to layout a planet. 
  • shipyard tool-tip doesn't display manufacturing cost
  • manufacturing queue does not refresh when available projects queue refreshes. 
  • [suggestion] clicking the icons on the planet wheel should borrow 2 percent production from the other two production categories. 

Improvements

  • Altarian Social Matrix is 'meh'. Considering giving it a bonus to it's level effect bonus Such as 10% instead of the normal 5%. This way I could put manufacturing and research improvements around it to increase the stats.

Sound

  • Use the selection sound for the button sound as well. The current UI click still drives me crazy.
