Basically I am playing Terran currently and trying to understand Manufacturing Cost. Is this a wealth thing, like each building I plop down is costing me a little bit of wealth. Currently I see around +45 on some manufacturing buildings. I am up to about 9 planets and control a good 1/8 of the galaxy. I am on a huge map with like 11 other AIs at turn 150. My influence is giving me planets slowly. Any rate I never have any issues with wealth as I have 3000 bc, but I just was wondering how this manufacturing cost attribute worked. I use a lot of tourism so I am often rich and can buy things at a moments notice just in case.
