Galactic Civilizations III Beta 5.1 is now available, and fixes the most common Beta 5 crashes. See below for the full changelog:
Fixes
- Fixed broken Rally points
- Fixed a crash when upgrading ships
- Fixed an issue where "Request Constructor" would affect the wrong ship
- Fixed a crash when replaying the battle viewer
- Fixed an exploit when ejecting an overcrowded fleet
- Fixed an issue where influence would be incorrect during rebellion
- Fixed an invasion issue if you got a transport before the invasion tech
- Fixed an issue where the Invasion Screen would have you listed as the attacked when you were defending
- Fixed an issue where there wouldn't be a warning of a pirate attack
- Fixed issues causing common crashes in multiplayer
- Fixed a crash if exiting to the main menu during the AI's turn
- Fixed a crash when accepting a trade proposal
- Fixed an infinite loop when a constructor has no destination (seen as you hitting end turn and the game never coming back)
- Fixed an issue where custom factions wouldn't save
- Fixed an issue where setting abundant planets made it less frequent than common planets (we rebalanced this whole curve, but this fix will be the most noticeable)
Balance
- Starting Scout gains a hyperdrive (+1 moves)
AI
- Added over 50 new conversations so the AI is more unique, especially for the Yor, Iconian and Thalan
