At the moment when you have a ship/fleet at a rally point and the rally point is on top, you do not see the ship/fleet on the map. When that ship/fleet is on sentry/guard it is easy to overlook it.
I therefor request a visual cue to indicate whether there are ships 'docked'/located at a rally point.

Left rally point: no ships at that location, right rally point: there are ships at the rally point.
"Navigator are we near the fleet yet?"
"Yes sir, they are next to us."
"I do not see them. Where are they?"
"To our starboard bow, sir."
"I still don't see them, do they have stealth technology?"
"No, sir. They are hidden by the big oscillating pointy thing."
"Damn, that is one big pointy thing.
Navigator, set an attachment course to the fleet.
Maybe the enemy won't see us when we too are near the big pointy thing."
