I apologize that I don't have time to read the forum to see how many of these have already been discussed.

1) Tourism is ridiculously powerful.  It should be a component of a healthy economic sector, not a replacement for one.  Also it should probably not require a technology to unlock--certainly not a technology more than two steps into the tree.

2) Early in the game, the AI shouldn't be willing to sell its colony ships.

3) I don't think starbases are working properly in combat: even my unarmored ships don't take damage when attacking them.

4) Please get the "Tech Speedup" setup option working ASAP.  The game feels even slower to me than I expect given my play style.

5) Please include a global option to turn off auto-upgrading for colony buildings.  Having to do it individually for each colony is annoying... and forgetting to do it is even more annoying.
