beta 2 feedback bugs and glitches

first off let me preface this with my compliments on the game it is really moving forward and im loving it. 
if its working properly then you wont notice it

 

New game menu

  1. Some tooltips for the racial bonuses are not displaying correctly

    effected tooltips are
    Resilient
    Courageous
    Clever
    handy
    they appear to start fine then spend about 3 seconds resizing to various font/tooltip sizes before settling to the useless view seen in the screenshot
  2. There’s a setting for nebulae but none for dust clouds are they shared?

 

Map

  1. Black holes still “sparkle” this is more obvious when moving the map

  2. Black holes seem to spawn in 3’s with the occasional solo or 4; generally if you find one there’s 2 more nearby (the three in the link above and the three circled in the link below are all black holes

  3. Black holes seem quite abundant even when set to rare( might be something to do with having resources set to abundant)
  4. Green/yellow movement lines are not accurate green line should be set to remaining moves while yellow should be maximum moves and orange anything beyond
    currently green is set to maximum and yellow to maximumX2 this leads to confusion as to where I can reach this turn which is what I understand the green to be
  5. Rally points the create rally point button should be more prominent in the main ui maybe a context menu when selecting a map tile
  6. Whan starting a new game from inside another game the galaxy border fails to appear
  7. When loading quickgame from inside a game it appears to load the same game
    same starting positions/same map
  8. Freighters and colony ships use the same strategic graphic not sure if this is intentional but very confusing
  9. No strategic icon for currently selected ship in tactical view

Shipyard

  1. Needs a build until further specified button
  2. Needs a clear all que button

 

 

Galactic events

  1.  Terraforming: the text on the merciless option gets squished with large ui

Planets

  1. There does not appear to be any reminder of colonization event bonus’s/malice’s
  2. There should be a move to top option on the build que maybe a little arrow at the end of the name of each of the buildings in the que
  3. Tidally locked tooltip information is cut off (large ui)
  4. Biospheres and ultra terraformer have switched descriptions
  5. buildings should identify if they are 1 per planet , 1 per civilization, 1 per galaxy
  6. buildings should identify the final upgrade you can currently build and its stats
  7. if you select a tile and use the scroll wheel all the currently built improvements shift up/down slightly

Anomalies

  1. Precursor builders should be set to exclude planets working on projects such as economic stimulus or birthing subsidies

Tech tree

  1. In the expanded view tech tree does not show progression by current tech age

  2. The Stars in specialization techs should fill up as you master those techs (they did in alpha)

  3. The specializations on ‘manufacturing focus’ don’t seem to show up properly

    I’m not sure if this is a one off glitch it doesn’t appear with any of the other specializations

Diplomacy

  1. Whenever you make a deal with someone the first listed gain is ‘new game’

  2. U.P. A.I seems to not be working properly so far I’ve only seen them vote for themselves or vote no depending on the resolution
     after a game crash/reload they actually started making decisions not sure if the first ones were just coincedental
  3. While the A.I.  places much more value on colonies then it did in G.C. 2 its value on colony ships is rather low

Economy

  1.  Economy is too overpowered after about 100 turns I pump out 400+ wealth per turn (without a true economic world)
     towards late game many of my worlds can pop out 2k+ wealth per turn

 

Ideology

  1. Pragmatic bonus ‘efficiency’ is not applying its bonus at 7 tiles away starports start losing 10% of their manufacturing.
