I downloaded and installed the beta version last week through steam. Just tried playing it today through clicking "play" in steam and going to where it is installed and double-clicking "GalCiv3.exe". Nothing happens in either case.
(I see something flash on the task bar briefly, but not long enough to read what it says).
I have:
Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2.
Intel Core i7 940 (Quad-core, 2,93 GHz)
12 GB Ram
64-bit OS
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
I haven't had problems playing any other games I've installed recently.
Any suggestions/Next steps?
