Alright, I have upgraded my status to Founder. I consider this to be an investment in Stardock.
So, it's safer than Kickstarter, at least, I know the good folks of Stardock produce quality.
My very first impressions of GalCiv III are as follows:
Wow, it looks really great even in this alpha state. I am really amazed and happy at the visual
punch the product already has. As well, there has been no appreciable slow down. I hope the
64 bit processing will eliminate this particular brick wall. I like Civ 5, but it crawls to a near stop
with every turn by mid-game.
It has been a long time since I have played GalCiv II and I have forgotten a lot of the detail, however,
I found that the GalCivIII screen presentations clean and to the point as far as getting me back up
to speed. I didn't have to look up anything or puzzle for more than a moment. The presentation gave me
what I need with no clutter or confusion.
Really, an ace job, so far. Can't wait to see what comes.
