The current race selection menu accessed during pre-game lobby is somewhat ambiguous in terms of mouse-over selection/highlight.
The northern portion of the Race text seems to be the only responsive portion of the text whilst the southern portion is a deadzone and will select neither race proximal to your cursor.
I would suggest increasing the fields of selection for the race text or perhaps enlarging the menu and text in conjunction with increasing the responsive selection area.
EDIT: I would also like to have visual access to the server lobby while being in the pre-game lobby.
