I tried researching every tech that's currently available (I wanted to try out the different ships that become available). But because of this, I ran into a rather annoying problem: I find myself unable to continue the game. Every time I try to end the turn I am taken to the (now empty) Research Screen.
Is it possible to force a turn to end? Or do I have to restart to test the larger ships?
