So, yeah, backing an unreleased game; I have no idea what to expect in terms of that. I have, however, done it twice today (Star Citizen as well,(and, yes, for those of you over on their forum, this is basically the same post I made there;)))
I recently had the rather ill-tasting experience of buying X Rebirth, which was supposed to be an actual released game but turned out to be more like one of these things, so I decided to jump in on some stuff that was being honest about what people were paying for.
I played (and still play on a regular basis) GalCiv II and I wouldn't be surprised if I logged close to a thousand hours over the years, so I'm pretty excited about this game.
Obviously this forum (and, along with it, the discussions, ideas and arguments) has been going on for quite a while and I've a great deal of catching up to do, and I'll be doing that, but in the meantime I'm just asking if you can fill my brain with all the things with which it need to be filled.
(Not sure if I've put this post in the right place, so feel free to tell me and shift it to wherever it would better fit.)
